1. Print Gantt

To Print the Gantt click on the Print Button on the Gantt Toolbar, located at the bottom of your screen.

  • The Print Gantt has been optimised for A3 and for a lookahead period of 12 weeks.

1.1 Select a Mode

Print Mode

  • Select a print Mode.

  • Planner Mode will print your Gantt

    • Baseline Mode will print your Gantt, showing your activities baseline varience.

    • Quants Mode will print your Gantt showing an activity's completed quantities against their planned quantities.

    • Select the grouping for your print legend, either by User or Subcontractor colours. Note that activity work areas will appear navy if the activity has not been assigned a Subcontractor.

To print in Baseline Mode, select a Baseline Snaposhot from the drop-down box.

1.2 Select Filter Options

Filter

  • Use the check-boxes to select Activity Owners, Subcontractors, Locations or Working Hours. Selecting Filter check-boxes allows you to customise the data in your PDF.

1.3 Select Gantt Fields

  • Use the check-boxes to select the columns you would like to appear on your Gantt print-out.

  • Use the date-picker to select a date range that you would like to print. Activities outside of the selected date range will not appear on your Print Gantt.

1.4 Saving PDFs

PDFs are stored on Planner within the My PDFs table.

To save a new PDF, click the Save PDF button.

Please note that it may take a while for your PDF to finish saving. Once your PDF has finished saving, the row will be populated with a filename and creation date.

Once your PDF has finished saving, you can download it or open it in your browser by using the Download buttons.

2. Print Sequence

To Print the Sequence click on the Print PDF Button on the Sequence Toolbar.

  • Use the Global Filter to hide work areas that you don't want to appear on your print-out.

  • The Print Sequence has been optimised for A3 and for a lookahead period of 12 weeks.

  • To navigate through the pages, use the Back and Next Buttons, or the Back To Sequence Button to go back to the Sequence Page.

2.1 Select a Date Range

  • Select a date range that you would like to print. Activities outside of the selected date range will not appear on your Print Gantt.

2.2 Select Days Per Sheet

  • Set the number of working days you would like on each sheet.

2.3 Pick Grouping for Legend

  • Select the grouping for your print legend, either by User or Subcontractor colours. Note that activity work areas will appear navy if the activity has not been assigned a Subcontractor.

2.4 Finalise and Download

  • You can zoom in and out of your Location Drawing by scrolling with your mouse, and click and drag to move your Location Drawing.

*Note that zooming out on you Browser Window will impact the resolution of your print-outs, we recommend that after editing your print-outs to revert your browser zoom to 100% before clicking Print PDF.

  • Activity details are displayed in Annotation Boxes around the Location Drawing on each print-out. To move an Annotation Box, click to highlight the box and then click and drag to move the box.

  • Once you have moved your Annotation Boxes into place and reviewed your print-outs, click the Save to PDF button.

  • Please note that saving may take a while. Once saving has been completed, the PDF will automatically download to your computer.

2. Print Histogram

To access the Resources Histogram, enter Resources View by selecting Resources from the View Drop-down on the Gantt Toolbar.

In Resources View, click the Generate Histogram Button on the Gantt Toolbar.

In the Histogram Window, you can view your data in Plant Mode or Labour Mode.

Use the Date Picker to select the date range you wish to view.

You can group your data and view it by day, week or month. To change the grouping, click on either day, week or month.

Click on the Filter Button to open up the Filter.

Use the Filter to hide resources you don't want to see. Once you have selected your filters, click the Apply Button.

To print your Histogram, click the Print Button or click the Cancel Button to close the Window.
